A humble kid shows me the way.

There’s a former D1 football player in my area who is an excellent trainer of young athletes. He can be a little standoffish at times so I don’t know him well.

We have sons the same age and they went to elementary school together. The other boy was always popular, definitely one of the “cool” kids. Still is. My son was / is a little socially awkward but this boy always greeted him with a big smile and enthusiasm. It did wonders for my kid.
